The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Tuesday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli assault, which began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 57,575 martyrs, with 136,879 others injured.
In a statement, the ministry said:
“Hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 52 martyrs and 262 wounded over the past 24 hours.”
It added that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings and in the streets, where ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them due to the continued Israeli bombardment.
The ministry also noted that in the last 24 hours, hospitals received 8 martyrs and over 74 injured persons among those awaiting American-Israeli aid drops.
According to the ministry, the death toll related to the so-called aid deliveries since May 27 has risen to 766 martyrs and more than 5,044 injuries.
