Calls for a mass march in Gaza to reject displacement plans

Palestinian activists in Gaza City have called on the public to participate in a mass rally tomorrow, Monday, in rejection of Israel’s attempts to forcibly displace them as part of its plan to fully reoccupy the city.
In a statement circulated on social media, the activists affirmed that “Palestinians are the rightful owners of this land, and no one else has any legitimate claim to it.”
They emphasized that their participation in the rally is a defense of themselves, their families, and future generations.
The statement added that the call is directed to all Palestinians in Gaza City to join “the largest unified march in rejection of any attempts to displace us from our safe areas, which are our warm embrace and our only refuge.”
It stressed the residents’ unequivocal rejection of forced displacement.
The statement urged the international community to assume its humanitarian and legal responsibilities to stop “this crime against the people of Gaza.”
It warned that “any displacement operation will affect everyone without exception, and cannot be accepted under any circumstances.”
The statement also called on local, Arab, and international media outlets to shed light on the issue.
Additionally, it urged the negotiating delegation to act immediately and urgently to secure a ceasefire “before what remains of the Gaza Strip is lost.”
