واصل فريق النصر تألقه تحت قيادة المدرب البرتغالي جيسوس انتصاراته بدوري روشن، ليصل إلى الانتصار الثامن على التوالي، متصدراً جدول ترتيب المسابقة بالعلامة الكاملة (24 نقطة)، حيث انتصر النصر على نيوم في مباراة الجولة الثامنة بثلاثية مقابل هدف، ما جعل النصر يحافظ على صدارته لقائمة أقوى خط هجوم بالموسم الحالي بالوصول إلى الهدف رقم (26) بفارق 3 أهداف عن التعاون ثاني أقوى خط هجوم، ثم الهلال الثالث بـ(22) هدفاً.
